Cecchi Sangiovese di Toscana
Cecchi was among the first bring the world’s attention to the great qualities of the Sangiovese vine. Cecchi’s Sangiovese is produced in the hills of Tuscany at an average elevation of 250 metres.
The grapes are gathered as they start to ripen. Fermentation takes place in steel containers and there then follows a refining period in the bottle. With an intense ruby red colour with clear violet reflections, it has a delicate fruity fragrance reminiscent of violet and iris. In the mouth the good structure well integrated with freshness is highlighted.
Pleasant with cold meats and meat based dishes, this wine is best served while young at a temperature of 16°C.
