Tasting notes
Medium- bodied wine with notes of crisp apple and ripe citrus fruit with a hint of cinnamon spice.
Review
Vintage: 1999 Wine Enthusiast Published 1999, Apr 23 2001 12:00AM Review: This is a nice, clean wine that has more fruit and class than you’d think at this giveaway price. The aromas and flavors tend toward green apples and peaches, with some pretty oak shadings. The finish is a little sweet.- S.H.
Technical notes
Grapes for this wine are sourced from a variety of areas in Northern California. The fruit was harvested relatively ripe to produce a medium-bodied style. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel and oak with approximately 50% of the blend undergoing malolactic fermentation to increase the wine`s complexity and mouthfeel. The wine was aged "sur lie" in tank for four months.
Food pairing
Delicious complement to grilled chicken, lighter pasta dishes or mild cheeses.
