Ultimate Beverage Challenge 93 points (Mar 2012) Nicely aromatic pop of toasted wheat bread, dried tobacco leaf, over-ripe banana and charcoal; somewhat restrained on the palate, it starts dry and evolves into a resiny richness, with flavors of toast, raisins, charred oak and candied almonds.  Ultimate Beverage Challenge 95 points (Mar 2011) Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2011 Finalist. Amazingly compelling and complex aromatics of wild honey, toasted grains, pecans, and rum like tropical fruits. The palate is lush and viscous while remaining dry with notes of dried fruits, roasted nuts and charred oak.
