Feudi della Medusa is one of Sardinia’s preeminent wineries. In 1996, Francesco Siclari and his son Sliman, began with seven acres of vineyards in Santa Margherita di Pula in southern Sardinia. Over the next decade, they expanded their holdings to 123 acres and also began farming 49 acres in the Usini and Ierzu districts. The soils are rocky, volcanic and well draining, perfect for fine wine grapes. The Siclaris built a modern winery modeled after the amphitheatre in the ancient town of Nora. They hired Donato Lanati, Attilio Scienza and Francesco Lizio to consult on the planting, farming and winemaking. Feudi della Medusa produces highly acclaimed, beautifully balanced wines of great precision and intensity from international and native varieties.
