Quivira Vineyards is a small, family owned winery located in Sonoma County’s Dry Creek Valley. Owner Pete Kight purchased the property from founders Henry and Holly Wendt in 2006. All estate vineyards are 100% organic and biodynamic and solar panels installed on the winery’s roof provide their electricity. Quivira received Demeter certification in 2005, the only certification agent for biodynamic farms in the United States. Winemaker Steven Canter began his career in California and also honed his skills in Oregon, Australia, Italy and South Africa. Pete and Steven aim for balance and elegance in their wines.
